Frequently Asked Questions
1. What information do I need to sign up for
E-Bill and E-Pay?
You will need an e-mail address, a checking or money
market account and a copy of your invoice.
2. How secure is the personal information
and transactions when using CheckFree?
Every transaction is protected by secure encryption
technology and federal privacy standards. In addition, CheckFree
does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties
for marketing purposes without your permission.
3. Is there an automatic pay feature?
When activated, the customer can choose from the following options:
a. Always pay the e-bill's amount due -  this
would be our "Min-Due"
b. Only pay e-bills less than or equal to a payment
amount limit that you set.
c. Pay when received or pay on due date. An
e-mail is sent confirming receipt of an auto pay invoice and associated
scheduled payment.
4. Are there other options for scheduling payments?
Once your accounts have been validated, customers using CheckFree
can schedule payments in advance or make a payment for the next
business day.
5. Is there a Transaction Fee for using CheckFree?
No, Quincy Mutual customers do not pay a transaction fee when using
CheckFree to make their payments. (Normal installment fees still
apply)
6. Why is there still a service charge?
Our regular service charge will be reduced when using CheckFree
e-bill. Quincy Mutual pays CheckFree to provide the e-bill and e-payment
options free to our customers.
7. How long will it take Quincy Mutual to process my Payment?
Online payments are usually processed in two business days. However,
because it can take anywhere from one to five business days to process
your payment, you should typically schedule payments a few days
prior to the due date. Paying bills electronically enhances your
ability to control your payments, allowing you to better manage
your cash flow.
8. What if I enter a payment after 5:00 P.M.?
If you enter a payment after 5:00 P.M. ET, the
earliest available payment date is two business days from the current
date.
For Example, if you schedule a payment on Monday after 5:00 P.M.
ET, the earliest available payment date is Wednesday. If you schedule
a payment on Friday after 5:00 P.M. ET, the earliest available payment
date is the following Tuesday.
9. When will I receive e-mails from CheckFree?
Once enrolled, CheckFree will send a welcome e-mail, and will follow
up with an e-mail each time a new e-bill is available.
a. The e-mail will tell you that an e-bill is available
from Quincy Mutual and will have a link back to MyCheckFree.
b. If you do not get an e-mail, reasons such as
your e-mail address changed, computer crash etc.; you are still
responsible to pay. You should access the account information directly
through www.MyCheckFree.com.
10. What are the options with CheckFree?
E-Bill only: receive an electronic bill through CheckFree (no paper
bill mailed).

E-Pay Only: receive a paper bill and pay electronically through
CheckFree
E-Bill & E-Pay: receive a bill electronically and pay electronically
through CheckFree
11. What if I currently bank online?
Many banks have a relationship with CheckFree and can offer Quincy
Mutual customers the same e-bill option. For a list of banks, go
to www.ebillplace.com.
12. What if I have forgotten my Password or Sign-In ID?
CheckFree provides Online assistance for your Password & Sign-In
ID. You will receive an e-mail with a link to a secure site that
will assist you. The site provides step by step help, and when information
is changed, you will receive a follow up e-mail to verify that you
requested that change.
13. Can I apply my payment to a specific policy when I
have more than one policy?
Yes, each policy is set up individually so you can pay them individually.
14. If I make a change to my policy in the middle of a
billing cycle, should I pay the e-bill I received that month?
Yes, even if you have recently made changes to your policy, you
need to pay at least the minimum due amount on your most recent
e-bill. Any adjustments to your account, either additional charges
or credits will be reflected in subsequent e-bills.
15. What if I have a cancellation notice?
If your policy is pending cancellation, payment must be received
by Quincy Mutual before 12:01 A.M. on the policy cancellation date
to ensure continuous coverage. Payment on a cancellation policy
does not constitute a reinstatement of your policy.
16. If CheckFree does not satisfy my needs, and I deactivate
the service, will the company
automatically begin mailing invoices?
Yes, if you deactivate your CheckFree account, the remaining invoices
will be mailed.
