Although Affiliated Insurance was founded in 1998, the agency was actually created through the merger of a group of agencies, some of which date back to 1937. John Daly, Donna Gelsomino, and Richard Rheinberger are the original three founders of Affiliated Insurance and currently still sit as President, Sr. Vice President and Vice President, respectively. John’s son, Sean Daly, joined the leadership team 5 years ago as a Vice President and Donna’s son is also a member of the Affiliated Insurance team, serving as an Account Executive.
With 18 dedicated employees working out of their Warwick, Rhode Island office, Affiliated Insurance is proud to have been able to maintain their small-agency feel over the years. Their appreciation for their employees is highlighted with several events held throughout the year — in addition to hosting ‘employee appreciation days’, they also have an annual trip to Block Island each year for all of their team members! This in turn, has resulted in many of their employees staying with the agency for many years — allowing Affiliated Insurance to build long-standing relationships with their clients.
Over the years, Affiliated Insurance has focused heavily on building trust and growing relationships with their clients. Keeping customer service a top priority, they work to find the best options available to satisfy the coverage needs of all clients, providing the best possible care and attention. They also strive to stand out in the industry by emphasizing continued education for their staff to ensure they have a solid understanding of changes in the insurance world with the goal of better serving their customers’ needs.
Outside of the office, Affiliated Insurance remains active in the community. They are a big supporter of one of their clients, Child & Family Services in Newport, Rhode Island, which is one of the largest social service providers in the state. Throughout the year, they also participate in fundraising walks and events to support the American Breast Cancer Foundation, the Pan-Mass Challenge, local Boy and Girl Scouts and various little league teams. Their partnership with Quincy Mutual Group has grown over the years and they are proud to have been able to join them at several events as well!
